I'm a senior reporter covering all aspects of the data center development boom in the US. My recent work has focused on data centers and energy use. In 2024, two of my stories on how the growth of data centers has changed Northern Virginia were part of a package that won the Silver award for best investigative report or series from NAREE.
I joined Business Insider's technology desk to cover major SaaS companies in the fall of 2022, just in time to follow Salesforce and its founder and CEO Marc Benioff through an activist investor pressure campaign and major restructuring.
Before moving to the tech beat, I spent my early career years embedded in the retail industry, first at the fashion industry trade publication WWD and its beauty industry offshoot Beauty Inc., and later at Business Insider. I've covered everything from CPG giants like P&G and Unilever and their retail partners like Walmart and Target to the rise of the wellness industry.
