The long-running survival competition reality series, hosted by Jeff Probst, returns for Season 48 on February 26. First premiering in 2000, the show has racked up seven Emmy Awards out of 69 nominations.

Keep reading to learn everything you need to know about watching Survivor. The links below will help you get caught up with past episodes on-demand, and the rest of the page will detail how to watch the new season when it returns (including live streaming options). Happy watching, and may the best castaway win.

Where to watch Survivor in the US

New episodes of Survivor will air Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS in the US, starting on February 26. The cheapest way to tune into the show in the US is via Paramount Plus Essential, which has all 47 past seasons on-demand and will upload new episodes of Season 48 on Thursdays. Subscriptions cost $7.99/month. If you want to watch new episodes live on Wednesdays, you can upgrade to Paramount Plus with Showtime, which costs $12.99/month and allows you to live stream your local CBS affiliate 24/7.

Paramount Plus offers a huge library of on-demand content from Paramount, CBS, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, BET, and MTV. The Premium Plan also includes Showtime and live CBS streaming. It costs $12.99 a month or $120 a year. More importantly, it removes ads from the on-demand streaming library.

If you're looking for even more elaborate live TV options that carry CBS and other channels, Fubo or DirecTV Stream will be able to help you out. DirecTV Stream carries more than 90 channels in its base Entertainment plan and Fubo offers over 150 in its base Pro plan. DirecTV Stream starts at $86.99/month and includes a five-day free trial, while Fubo starts at $79.99/month and comes with a seven-day free trial.

Fubo is the streaming service for sports fans. Its huge library of channels includes regional and international sports leagues, setting it apart from the competition. You can also tack on additional programming to your plan, but it'll cost you extra.

Where to watch Survivor in Canada

Survivor Season 48 will be available to watch on Global TV on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET in Canada, starting on February 26. You can access live streams by logging in with your Canadian TV provider. If you don't mind waiting a bit, Global TV will also offer new episodes from the season on-demand within a day after they air. There's no account creation required for the latter option, although you'll need to make one if you're looking to stream an episode more than a week after it airs.

Where to watch Survivor in Australia

New episodes of Survivor will hit 9Now in Australia on Thursday evenings, so there will be about a half-day delay from when episodes air live in the US. This is a free streaming option that just requires account creation to use.

How to watch from anywhere

If you happen to be away from the region of your chosen streaming service right now, you can still keep up with Survivor by using a VPN (virtual private network). This will let you change the location that your electronic device is currently associated with, so you can access your usual websites and apps from almost anywhere in the world. VPNs also help boost your online security and privacy. Using this method, people who are traveling out of Australia or Canada at the moment should still be able to access their free streaming options.

We recommend ExpressVPN, an easy-to-use virtual private network with a 30-day money-back guarantee. You can read more about it in our ExpressVPN review and learn how to use it below.

  • Install it on the device you're planning to watch Survivor on.
  • Turn it on and set it to an Australian or Canadian location.
