PetPremium is an insurance comparison broker that connects pet owners with popular pet insurance providers. Like other broker sites, PetPremium does not underwrite insurance or pay claims.

Pet insurance shoppers can input their pet's age, breed, and relevant health information into the online quote generator and receive multiple estimates in seconds. The generator is simple and easy to use, and only requires your basic contact information on a single input form.

While some insurance brokers offer additional benefits when you use their websites to purchase insurance, PetPremium does not. It's simply a way for pet owners to get multiple quotes at once and directly compare benefits.

PetPremium asks you the same questions any other pet insurance company would. Be prepared to provide your pet's name, species, breed, age, and sex. You'll also provide your email and ZIP code, as your location is one of the most important factors when pet insurance companies calculate your premiums.

PetPremium has an optional set of questions about your pet's health, which will give you more tailored results. PetPremium will ask how often your pet sees their vet; if they receive flea, tick, and heartworm prevention; what they eat; and if they have received behavioral training.

Once you land on the quote page, you can choose between the available plans, which will vary based on your location and the breed and age of your pet. You can click on each provider and get a list of benefits and exclusions. Once you choose a policy from a provider, you'll be taken to that provider's website, where you can customize your policy's reimbursement, annual deductible, and annual limit.
